The U. S. Food and Drug Administration on Friday approved its approval of an antibiotic, Viagra, in a second round of theNew Drug Applicationfor the drug.
The FDA approved the drug in June 2014, a year after Pfizer Inc. had been granted approval to sell it for erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
The drug, which was developed by Pfizer Inc. and marketed by Eli Lilly and Company, is marketed asViagra Connect.
